WHAT IS THE INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS AWARD?

In January 2020, the Crisis Management Innovation Network Europe (CMINE) and the DRIVER+ project organised a competition for crisis management solutions with high innovation potential.

Stakeholders were invited to vote for the solutions registered for the competition and evaluate them against 3 key criteria:

  1. Contribution to crisis management/disaster risk reduction (CM/DDR);
  2. Affordability; and
  3. Contribution to innovation

The winners were selected by a jury and invited to present their solutions at the DRIVER+ Advanced Final Conference, 19-20th February 2020 in Brussels, Belgium.
