ISCRAM 2016 “Informal Volunteering” Workshop organized by DRIVER partners

AIT and MDA are organizing at the ISCRAM 2016 in Rio de Janeiro a DRIVER workshop to discuss risks and opportunities of ad-hoc and informal volunteers in crisis management. The workshop intends to shade light on the experiences with different methodologies and practices for managing such volunteers and is organised as a half day World Café. In addition, participants are encouraged to contribute with short papers prior to the workshop, as well as to participate in writing a joint position paper after the workshop.

For further information on the workshop organisation and instructions for preparing the contributions, please join the “informal volunteers” Google plus group.

A short paper on Experiment 42 "“Interaction with Citizens” Experiments: From Context-aware Alerting to Crowdtasking" has been prepared for the occasion. Please visit the link below to read the full paper.
